About Moschino

Moschino was founded in 1983 when a women wore a piece on a fashion show in Milan. The jeans women’s wear and the Cheap and Chic collections where then launched during the 1980’s. Franco Moschino took a political standpoint in 1991 when he decided to no longer present runway shows and he has also run a social awareness campaign. In 2000 the Aeffe Fashion Groups sold 30% of the Moschino S.p.a to SINV S.p.a. In 2003 the company opened a new flagship store on Rue de Grenelle 12 in Paris and on Petrovsky Passazh in Moscow. Moschino also designed the Winter Olympic Costumes for the sign-bearers in Turin 2006. Recently in 2008 the jeans label “LOVE MOSCHINO” was founded and boutiques opened in New York, Kiev, Ekaterinburg and Dubai.
