About Giorgio Armani

Giorgio was born 1934 close to Milan and started his career at a medical school for two years. Later on he worked as designer at Nino Cerruti for nine years. The Armani company was founded the company with support from his friend Sergio Galeotti. He is interested in sports and has designed suits for the England national football team and to the Italian flag bearers at the Winter Olympics 2006. Armani has banned models with BMI less than 18.
